This page explains how paymentsecuritypros.com researches, writes, reviews and updates its guides.

Sources

  • We rank sources in this order: regulators and standards bodies (RBI, NPCI, CERT-In, MeitY, PCI SSC, EMVCo); providers’ own documentation, terms and pricing pages; court and ombudsman decisions; reputable reporting.
  • Claims a provider makes about its own product are attributed to that provider.
  • Fees, limits and rules are quoted with the date we checked them.

Authors and review

Every article has a named author and a second team member who checks facts, links and figures before publication. Author pages list who writes and reviews each topic.

Comparisons

When we compare providers we use the same criteria for each one and say where information is not public. A provider’s position in a comparison cannot be bought.

Use of AI

Writers may use AI tools to help with research, outlining or editing. A person checks every fact against its source and is accountable for what is published. We do not publish AI-generated text without human review.

Updates and corrections

We review high-traffic guides regularly and whenever a regulator or provider changes a rule or fee. Material corrections are noted at the end of the article with the date. Report an error at gokul@paymentsecuritypros.com.

Commercial relationships

See About us for our funding and relationships with payment companies. Sponsored or partner content, if any, is labelled at the top of the page.
